Rodent control

Rats and mice handled, then kept out for good.

Rodents are not a one-and-done job. We keep them out, not just knock them down once. That means baiting to deal with the activity, proofing the gaps they use, and a follow-up to make sure they stay gone.

How we deal with them

Knock them down, then shut the door.

Anyone can lay a few baits. The difference is finding out how rodents are getting in and closing it off, so you are not back to square one a month later. Mark handles rats and mice for homes, strata and businesses right across Sydney, and his approach has three parts.

  • Baiting. Targeted, secured baiting to bring the active population down quickly and safely.
  • Exclusion and proofing. We find and seal the gaps, entry points and runs rodents use to get inside.
  • Follow-up. A return check to confirm the activity has stopped and the proofing is holding.

Rats and mice gnaw wiring, contaminate food areas and breed fast. Dealing with the entry points is what stops the problem coming straight back.

Rodent baiting and proofing work

Homes

Rats and mice get into roof voids, wall cavities, kitchens and garages, often through gaps you would never think to look at. We track down the entry points, treat the activity and proof the property so they cannot stroll back in.

Strata and commercial

Apartment blocks, shops and commercial sites bring their own rodent hotspots, including roof voids, ceiling cavities and bin and storage areas. We work with strata and commercial clients on a plan that keeps rodents out and records the work for compliance.

Why proofing matters

The bit most jobs skip.

A bait-only job clears what is there today and leaves the door open for the next lot. Proofing is the difference between a quick fix and a problem that actually stays solved.

  • We look for the source. Where rodents are nesting, feeding and getting in, not just where you have seen droppings.
  • We seal the entry points. Gaps around pipes, vents, eaves and doors that rodents squeeze through.
  • We come back to check. A follow-up visit confirms the activity has stopped and the proofing is doing its job.

Common questions

Rodent control, answered.

Why is proofing part of the job?

Baiting alone clears the rodents that are there now, but if the gaps they used are still open, more will follow. Proofing seals those entry points so the problem actually stays solved, which is why we treat and proof rather than just bait.

Do you handle strata and commercial sites?

Yes. Rodents are common in roof voids, ceiling cavities and bin and storage areas across apartment blocks, shops and commercial premises. We work with strata managers and business owners on an ongoing plan and document the work where it is needed for compliance.

What does rodent control cost?

Standard rodent jobs have a set price we are happy to share up front, with no callout fee. Larger sites or ongoing programs are quoted after a quick look. See our pricing page or call for a free quote.
